Travel Insurance for those with epilepsy can be provided as standard so long as:
(i1) You have not required referral or consultation with a specialist or hospital form treatment, investigation or check up within the last 12 months
(ii) You are not waiting for any tests, test results or hospital treatment of any kind
(iii) Your doctor has not increased your regular prescribed medication in the last 3 months.

If you cannot agree the above or have any other pre-existing conditions that you require cover for, non standard cover can be provided (sometimes without any additional premium/terms) by contacting us to arrange a medical screening, Our trained staff will ask yuo a few medical questions and give you an instant decision without the need for medical certificates or doctors letters.

Summary of Policy

Policies are available for single trips up to 45 days, long stay trips up to 15 months or on an annual basis for multiple trips. An annual multi-trip policy runs for 12 months from the date specified and provides cover for any number of trips provided that they do not exceed the maximum duration for any one trip shown in your insurance benefits schedule. A single trip or long stay policy provide cover for the duration of the trip shown in your policy documentation.

Who can be covered?
Policies can be arranged for individuals, couples or families, subject to the maximum age limit shown in your benefits schedule. A family policy provides cover for up to two adults and their dependent children aged 17 and under or 20 and under if still in full time education and all normally residing together at the same address. Cover for families shall apply where the appropriate premium has been paid. On annual multi-trip policies, all insureds are entitled to travel independently of each other providing all travellers are named on the policy schedule.

Medical Pre Screening

Any condition that has required referral to or consultation with a specialist or hospital for treatment, investigation or check up within the 12 months prior to:

the date that this insurance was arranged, or
the date that you subsequently made arrangements for a trip (if this is an annual multi-trip policy), or
the date that you extended the original period of your insurance, which is the latest.

Please note :
You are not covered for any related claims if you

have any medical condition as a result of which a medical practitioner has advised you not to travel or would have
done so had you sought his or her advice have been given a terminal prognosis have been previously diagnosed
psychiatric or psychological disorder are on a waiting list for treatment or investigation
